Newsletters
If you like to stock pick but don't want to spend hour after hour researching stocks, a premium content newsletter can save you a lot of time. Yes, there are lots of blogs out there, including this one, where stocks are reviewed and information is free. However, there's a lot to say for paying up for research.
In my experience the quality of the writing is often better, the research is deeper and the reader tends to pay more attention to what is said given that they've paid for it. In my opinion the key benefit of paid content is that it typically appears only once a month. This is a good pace at which to review companies as it's more than often enough and stops you from over trading and over thinking the market. Investing is for the long term and once a month is plenty.
Please note that I am affiliated with each of the following newsletters and receive commission for each member who signs up via the UK Value Investor site.
Dividend Income Investor
The first premium newsletter is Dividend Income Investor. This site has a great sample newsletter covering a review of Tesco. The writing is good quality and the investment case is sound. In fact Tesco is quite close to the top of my screen at the moment (June 2011). The investing and research style is quite similar to my own, so any readers who are looking for additional stocks that are similar to the ones I cover, then Dividend Income Investor might be just the place to find them.

UK Value Investor Newsletter
At some point in the future I intend to start my own premium newsletter service for investors who are serious about making the most of their one time opportunity to grow their wealth. For now, I have started to produce a monthly newsletter as a PDF document which is based on the most recent posts on the blog.
